Coaching
is a two-way relationship between you and your coach. Your coach’s
job is to accompany you on a path of self-discovery and transformation.
In order to engage in a coaching relationship, you must have a deep-seated
desire to change or improve some aspect of your life which, alone,
you are unable to change.
Coaching requires you to do some work of deep self-exploration;
looking into what your values are, what you dream of doing, discovering
your potential, stretching yourself beyond what you think is possible,
and aligning all these elements so that you can live a life of fulfillment.
Different from psychotherapy, in coaching we do
not go into the analysis of the past. We look at the present moment
and move forward. We believe that there is nothing which needs to
be fixed. And in fact, in coaching the idea of failure does not
exist. On the contrary, our past experiences become our resources
for learning and for making better choices. When you realize that
you have a choice, then you can envision your desired future.
