The philosophy behind Paris Playground is based on the belief that all human beings learn best by doing . . . doing what comes naturally in a safe environment. We call this “experiential learning”. It’s about being in a space without fear: without fear of failing; without fear of being judged - it’s that sacred space where everything and anything is possible.

Co-Active Coaching at Paris Playground is about creating that safe and sacred space for our clients to learn and evolve. Each individual sets his own goals and goes at his own pace; we as coaches are here to motivate you, support you, and challenge you to live the life you want to live. We are fully committed to you!

There is however one catch: you must be willing, able, and committed to “playing full out”. We expect you to let go of your preconceived ideas, to be willing to try new things, to be fully committed to what you say you want to accomplish, and to fully trust us in providing that safe space for you to play in!

At Paris Playground we believe that you, as an individual, have a “calling”; something which only you came here to do and experience. Whether it’s something you’re yearning to do in your personal life or something that’s wanting to happen in your professional environment, there’s that music playing in your ears. Do you hear it? The name “Paris Playground” came into Lourdes Gutiérrez’ consciousness several years ago, as the result of a huge life transition. Imagine yourself in a foreign country, being there as a long term-visitor with your spouse, and one morning you both realize that what you both really want to do is go your separate ways! This is when Lourdes asked herself “What next? Do I go back to my home country or do I stay here in France and make it work?”

Given her background, she couldn’t very well continue teaching French in a land of French speakers. Yet, her passion for France and her desire to stay here were so much a part of her “being” that she decided to transform her life, change her career, and literally create from “nothing”. In order to have a working status in France, she needed to prove that she could bring something to France that no other French citizen could bring!

As a result, Paris became Lourdes’ very own playground - her place of learning. Paris is where all her ideas took place, where she began her “second education”: taking courses, going to seminars, doing a lot of traveling, and beginning her own network of like-minded people. This was the beginning of Paris Playground.

Of course, it took a lot of determination and playing hard to make it all happen. Because of her dynamic nature, she succeeded in attracting a group of individuals with the same values and the same desire - bringing Co-Activity to France! This combination of individuals allows Paris Playground to offer today a wide range of services provided by high calibre professionals.

This is yet another example that when you give yourself to your dreams and align your potential with the “calling” of the Universe, things begin to happen within a space of synchronicity - those precious opportunities presented to
us by life which, if seized at the right moment, can change the course of a lifetime. Intention, synchronicity, and the willingness to move forward are truly what create magic in the world.

In Co-Active Coaching we believe that living a fulfilled life is a "radical act". We believe it takes courage to stand up and say I want more from life, I want everything that is possible, and I want to take the rest of you with me too. We will always envisage you in connection with your community and in reciprocity with your environment, be it at work or at home. You are the creative force that chooses whether to sustain the status quo or to change the world as you would wish it to be. We choose to sustain the status quo when we make judgements about what happens and blame someone else for everything that is wrong.

We may also choose to suspend judgement and to look to ourselves and those around us to create from every situation more of what we want. This is what co-active coaching is all about. No settling for less than your wildest dreams. Nothing less than your heart's desire. We believe that it is by holding each other as strong, amazing, "naturally creative, resourceful and whole" individuals we can all access our own greatest potential; and that by doing this work with intention and love, together with others, we can achieve the things we haven't even yet imagined dreaming yet.
